Wilson, William V. --Of Somerville, passed away at home on June 21, 2023. He was 88.

Born and raised in Somerville, he was the devoted son of the late Federick and Rebecca (Beattie) Wilson. William was a family man, he love to spend time with them, especially his nieces. His dedication and love to them was endless. He was the past commander of the VFW from 95 to 96. Late U.S Korea Army Veteran.

He was the beloved uncle of Deborah "Debbie" Wilson and her partner Paul Fidler Jr. Cherished great-uncle of Rebecca Wilson of Somerville. Cherished brother of the late Walter "Wally" Wilson his twin brother, Florence Wilson and Anne K. Wilson. He also leaves behind his good friend and confidant John Conway.

A burial will be held at a later date with military honors.
