Dwyer, Theresa M. (Tierney)-- Of Medford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 11, 2022. She was 95.

Born and raised in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret (Brennan) Tierney.

She was the beloved wife to the late John Dwyer. The devoted mother of Michael T. Dwyer of Somerville, Eileen Coogan and her husband Thomas of Wakefield, John Dwyer and his wife Sharon of Newton. Loving grandmother of Darcy and Emily Dwyer, John, Shane and Conor Coogan, Owen, Kyle and Brady Dwyer. Dear great grandmother of Maggie and Isla Coogan and Kiran Dwyer. Cherished sister of the late Mary Wilson, Margaret Manning, Joseph Tierney and John Tierney. Sister in-law of Eileen "Kay" Cassell, Rosemary Dwyer and Rita Tierney. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral procession will be held on Saturday, November 19th from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville at 8:30AM.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford at 9:30AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be Friday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.

Services will conclude with Theresa being laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
