Shirley R. Fuccillo passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022 at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford, she was 86. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Camilla (Dalio) and Richard F. Fuccillo.

A longtime Somerville resident, Shirley was a stitcher working for the United Curtain Company. She enjoyed arts and crafts projects, but above all cherished time spend with her grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered as a "firecracker" who always loved to keep the staff at Courtyard on their toes. Despite her feistiness she was always able to provide an uplifting word or encouragement to those she loved.

Shirley was the devoted mother of the late Donna Marie Robichaud. Loving grandmother of Thomas Robichaud and his husband Alex, Timothy Robichaud and his wife Amanda, Jaimie Holmes and her husband Jeremie and great-grandmother of Evan Delano, TJ Robichaud, Nate Holmes and Makenzie Robichaud. Dear sister of the late Phyllis Grenier and Richard F. Fuccillo, Jr.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville Tuesday morning, June 21st from 8:30 – 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Clement Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
