Born and raised in Formia and Rome, Italy, he was the son of the late Alberto and Oresta (Rossi) Capolino.

Shortly after graduating high school, Sal married the love his life, Anne, and they started their family. He was a diligent, hard worker who worked his way up from the mailroom to IT and programming department manager. In his down time, you could find him tending to his beautiful garden or woodworking. He made each of his children an exact replica of their own homes. Family was the most important thing to Sal, especially when he became "Papa" to his grandchildren whom he adored. Nothing made him smile more than his grandchildren. Sal was a one of a kind man who will be missed by all who loved him.
