Obituary

Robert J. Pratt, of Billerica, formerly of Somerville passed away suddenly on September 18, 2023, he was just 31 years old. Born in Cambridge, he was the cherished son of Katherine (Mahan) and Paul Pratt. Raised in Somerville, Robert was a great athlete and excelled in football and baseball and served as captain of both Somerville High teams. A hard worker, Robert was a mover with Gold Star Moving in Cambridge.

In addition to his parents, Katherine and Paul of Billerica;Robert is survived by Valeria Evangelista devoted mother to their son, and his cherished son Cristiano Evangelista all of Somerville . Dear brother of Samantha Pratt and her fiancé Chris Castagna of South Boston and uncle to their son Christopher Castagna. Loving grandson of Katherine Rita Mahan of Billerica and the late Alfred Mahan, Geraldine (Jutras) and Robert J. Pratt. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins from the Pratt and Mahan Families.

Funeral Procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Monday morning at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Calling Hours Sunday 2 – 5PM. Services will conclude with burial at Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica.
