Robert "Bob" Tivnan, age 80 of Medford formerly of Somerville. Bob passed peacefully with his daughters by his side after a short illness October 7 ^th , 2022.

Devoted husband of the late Sheila Tivnan.

Beloved father of daughters Laurie Finigan & her husband Stephen of Medford, Lisa Tivnan & Timmy Mackey of Wakefield & son the late Robert Tivnan Jr. & his wife Kathy of Dracut.

Cherished & loving Papa of Tyler & Kaleigh Finigan, Brendan Tivnan and Erin Mackey.

Loving brother of Claire Mooney & her husband the late James Mooney and the late Edward & Andrea Tivnan.

Bob was also a dedicated brother-in-law to Mary Ellen and her husband Ronald White of Medford and many Doherty Family members who passed before him.

Also survived by many nieces & nephews and their families whom he loved very much.

Bob will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, his genuine kindness to everyone and his love of driving anyone anywhere they needed to go.

Veteran of the US Navy.

Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) SOMERVILLE Friday morning at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Clement Church, Somerville at 10 o'clock.

Relatives & friends invited.
