Robert J. Devaney, affectionately known as Bob, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was 67 years old.

Born in Boston, Bob was the beloved son of the late Leonard and Barbara (Owen) Devaney. He grew up in Brighton, where he proudly served as an altar boy at Saint Columbkille Church. Bob was a graduate of Burlington High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career in printing, working in the trade for 42 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at a printing company in Burlington.

Bob was known for his handy nature and generous spirit. Often referred to as "Mr. Fix-It," he was the person everyone called when something needed repairing. No matter the task, Bob was always there with a smile and a willingness to help.

In his free time, Bob enjoyed building model cars, taking trips to New Hampshire, and immersing himself in World War II history. He was also a devoted fan of Star Trek, finding joy and fascination in its stories and characters.

Bob will be remembered for his kindness, his helpful heart, and his many interests that brought him happiness throughout his life.

Beloved Partner for 30 yrs to Virginia Frost of Somerville, Ma and wonderful bonus dad to her children Donny Frost of Somerville, Ma and Carlene Zullo of Westbrook, Maine after the passing of their dad in 1995. The only grandfather Carlene's children Domenic Morello, Makayla Morello and Bentley Morello of Westbrook Maine ever knew.  Bonus Papa to Donny's daughter Giuliana Frost of Saugus, Ma. Also survived by his beloved dog Shasha.
