Richard Ford, (Ricky), 71, born in
Arlington MA
to Gerald Ford and Florence (Chapdelaine) Ford of Cambridge MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife, Denise his cherished daughters Kelly, Erin and Lauren Ford, and lifelong friend Ed "Barney" Barnard. He lived his life as he loved life, honoring family, friends, and everything positive. Richard leaves behind his loving wife, Denise, his adoring daughters, Kelly, Erin and Lauren, his new grand-puppy Corduroy (Roy), and many other family members and close friends.
Ricky was devoted to "his girls", he was a doting husband and father, putting his family above all else. Ricky will be lovingly remembered for his larger-than-life sense of humor and jokes. To be pranked by him was an honor. He loved to spend time at York Beach, in Maine with his wife Denise and was the epitome of Christmas spirit...nobody could decorate a Christmas tree better than him.
In addition to his beloved wife Denise, Ricky is survived by his cherished daughters, Kelly Ford of South Boston, MA, Erin Ford and her partner Sean Cormier of Salem, NH and Lauren Ford of Windham, NH. He is the dear brother of Geraldine Woodside of Somerville, and Paul Ford of Florida's Homosassa. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Ricky" to the many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews from the Woodside and extended McLaughlin families. A loyal friend to many, Ricky also leaves behind many friends, including his North Street crew.
