Richard T. LaCroix, of Belmont and formerly of Somerville, passed away on October 1, 2023, he was 62. Born and raised in Somerville Richard was one of ten children born to Marion (Richardson) and Sylvio J. LaCroix.

He is survived by his cherished siblings; Paula Wing and her husband Ronald of Burlington, Maryann Jerrier of Somerville, Shirley Gens and her husband Michael of Jaffrey, NH, Paul LaCroix and his wife Sandra of Manchester, NH, David LaCroix and Michael LaCroix, both of Somerville and the late Wallace LaCroix, Sylvio LaCroix, Jr. and Rosemary Doucette. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Richard was a resident of the Beaver Brook Step program and enjoyed independent living with his roommates at their home in Belmont. He also enjoyed spending the day at the Nupath Day program with many clients and friends. Above all, Richard was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and enjoyed time spent with his large extended family.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Thursday morning, October 5th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM followed by a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
