Mr. Ram Sarup Agnihotri, of Somerville, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on July 5, 2026, he was 93. Born and raised in Rangilpur, Punjab, India; he was the son of the late Saraswati (Devi) and Keshoram Agnihotri. The eldest of his four siblings, he  became the patriarch of the family at a young age following the loss of his mother, helping raise and guide them. He came to the United States in 2000 and settled in Somerville.

The beloved husband of the late Raj Maya (Chand) Agnihotri, who passed in December of last year. He was the devoted father of Yash Pal Agnihotri and his wife Manju, Lalit Agnihotri and his wife Seema, Gulshan Sharma and her husband Rajesh, all of New Delhi, India and Durgesh Joshi and her husband Baij of Arlington. Cherished grandfather of Gunjan, Dakshaa, Karishma, Akash, Nidhi and Isha.

Highly energized, Ram enjoyed daily yoga and long walks, often for many miles. Ram will be remembered by his family for strong will power and independence.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 9th at Mount Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge beginning at 9:00AM in the Bigelow Chapel, followed by cremation at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
