Teixeira, Paulo-- Of Somerville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 26, 2022. He was 77 years old.

Born and raised in Terceira, Azores. He was the beloved son of Luis and Maria (De Lourdes) Teixeira. Paulo was a family man and worked hard to provide for his family. He had a successful career in the autobody business. His love for his family was endless especially for his late wife Maria (Valadao) Teixeira who died in 2022. His memory will never be forgotten and will live on with his family.

He was the beloved husband of 51 years to the late Maria (Valadao) Teixeira. The devoted father of Paula Teixeira of Somerville. Loving grandfather of Nelson. He is also survived by many loving, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Funeral Procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) on Saturday, February 11th at 9:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Ave., Cambridge , MA 02141 at 10:00AM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be Friday February 10th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.

Services will conclude with Paulo being laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery, Arlington.
