Silva, Paul E. -- Of Somerville, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Beth Israel Hospital. He was 77.

Born in Boston and raised in Somerville and Billerica. He was the son of the late Gilbert F. and Jennie E. Benfante.

Paul run a successful business as a technician for repairing gaming machines. He was known to be able to fix anything. If someone called and needed something repaired, he would be right there to fix it. He often called himself a "jack of all trades". Paul was a quiet man who didn't say much but when he did, he spoke with meaning.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Dorothea (Meskell) Silva. Devoted father of Paul E. Silva Jr and Chad Silva and his wife Edith. Cherished grandfather of Thomas, Jonathan, Brenna, Pauly and Jonathan Lora. The dear brother of Gilbert F. Silva. Loving uncle of Jolie.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday morning December 10, 2022 from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. A prayer service will be conducted in the funeral home at 12:30PM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
