Kirkland, Paul W. – Of Somerville, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimers.

Born April 5, 1952 in Stoneham, Ma. to the late George and Jane (Donovan) Kirkland.

Beloved husband of 39 years to Jacqueline (Parlo) Kirkland. Devoted father of Jenn Kirkland and her husband Michael Daigle and Stacey Kirkland. Loving grandfather of Meckenzie Daigle. Cherished brother of Janice Dibble and Dan Kirkland and his wife Susan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Paul was a lifelong resident of Somerville. He worked for 32 years at Ames Envelope and for 12 years at Stoneham High School as a custodian.

Paul was a sports enthusiast and loved all of the Boston sports teams. He frequented the Sons of Italy where he enjoyed libations and banter with many friends. He spoke sarcasm fluently and would be the first to help someone in need.
