Patrick F. Keane Of Medford, Age 81, died after a long illness, on Friday, June 23, in the arms of his loving wife Mary "Terry", and surrounded by his four children and most of their grandchildren.

Patrick was born on December 5, 1941 in Boston.  His father John and mother Mary both came over from Ireland and met in Charlestown.  He grew up with his siblings Mary, John, Kay, Danny, Ellen, Nancy and Neil in Charlestown.  After attending Boston Trade High School, he entered the Marine Corps.  After honorable service in the infantry as a mortarman, he became a Boston Firefighter and spent most of his 30 year career in East Boston.

Pat is survived by his wife Terry and their children and in-laws; Sean and his wife Joanne, Jayem, Patrick and and his wife Christine, Anne Marie and her husband Gerard.  Their eleven grandchildren; Matthew, Veronica, Rebecca, Alexandra, Nathan, Padraig, Ronin, Catriona, Colin, Kiercen and Finian. They also have one great grandchild Cillian.

After retirement Pat and Terry moved from Somerville to their favorite vacation place North Conway NH. They spent many happy years in New Hampshire.  They recently moved back to Medford to be close to their children and grandchildren.

Patrick will be missed for his great sense of humor and especially his devotion to his family and especially his wife Terry.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, 4:00 - 7:00. Relatives and friends invited.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Wednesday in, St. Raphael Church, Medford at 10:00am, relatives and friends are asked to go directly to church.
