Michael P. Moore – Of Quincy, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was 78 years old.

Born in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late John W. and Leona (Hopkins) Moore.

Michael was a proud and devoted veteran of the United States Navy, serving honorably and retiring as a member of the military police. He carried himself with quiet strength, discipline, and integrity. These qualities that defined both his military career and his everyday life.

Michael was a simple man who found joy in life's simplest pleasures, especially when shared with his beloved late wife, Sigrid, who was truly his world. Their bond was one of deep love and companionship. Following her passing, he missed her dearly each and every day, holding her memory close to his heart.

Beloved husband of the late Sigrid (Frank) Moore. Devoted brother of Diane Frye and her late husband Roger, the late Thomas Moore and his late wife Judy, and the late Timothy Moore and his late wife Heather. Cherished uncle of John Moore and his wife Diane, Kimberley Stephens and her husband Jeffery, Edmond Frye, and Jennifer Dennis and her husband Dale. Also survived by many loving great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on February 27th at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave Bourne at 10:45AM. Please meet directly at the gate.

Michael will be laid to rest with his beloved wife.
