Boudreau, Mary J. (O'Brien), 80 of Winchester, after a brief illness peacefully passed
into eternal life on June 2, 2023.

Beloved wife and best friend of the John (Jay) J. Boudreau.

Mary was the devoted daughter of the late Martin J. and Bridget G. O'Brien
of Somerville, MA and County Donegal, Ireland.

She is also survived by many relatives in Ireland, England and the U.S.

Born on March 17, 1943 in Somerville, Mary was a graduate of Somerville High School
(1961) and graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Science and a
Master's of Library and Information Science.

Mary was a long-time law librarian for Accufile, Inc. of Lexington. Mary dedicated her life to church and community. Mary was a devout participant at St. Eulalia's Parish in Winchester since 1999, and previously the Immaculate Conception
and St. Clements in Somerville.

Mary was Deputy Superintendent of the Cambridge Auxiliary Police where she served for over 30 years. She led by example even when not
in church or on duty. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet her was inspired by her
love of God and sense of duty to the community.

Mary's adventurous spirit inspired her travels to Israel, Međugorje, Herzegovina and Donegal.

Funeral from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House
Square), Somerville on Friday, June 9, at 9:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial
celebrated at St. Eulalia's, Winchester at 10:00 am.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
