Marie L. Delerme, of Somerville, passed away on Wednesday, October 23rd, after a long illness. She was 63 years young. Born, raised, and educated in Cayes, Haiti, Marie was a beacon of joy and resilience, always known for her radiant smile.

No matter the challenges she faced, Marie had an extraordinary ability to find humor in every situation. She believed that laughter was the best medicine, often sharing a good joke to lift the spirits of those around her. Her warmth and positivity touched many lives.

Marie cherished spending time with her family, especially her beloved son and grandchildren. She had a passion for good food and enjoyed sharing meals with loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Beloved daughter of Tourville Delerme, Sr  and his late wife Amelica Rose of Somerville, and the late Lauda Germeil. Devoted mother of Emmanuel Delerme. Loving grandmother of Christian and Jose Jamal Delerme. Cherished sister of Johanne Delerme-Joseph and her husband Jacques of Everett, Paula Delerme of Stoneham, Tourville Delerme of Somerville. Dear aunt of Amarah and Wilnes. Also survived by many friends and family in Canada and in Haiti.

Marie's funeral services will be held privately.
