Hamizidis, Marianthi (Topalidis)-- Of Somerville, formerly of Thessaloniki, Greece passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at home with her family by her side. She was 97.

Born and raised in Alistrati Drama, Greece to the late Dimitiros and Anastasia Topalidis.

The beloved wife of the late Simeon Hamizidis. Devoted mother of Vasiliki Vocas and Dimitrios Hamizidis and the late Anastasia Bouklas . Loving grandmother of Panagiota Rizzo, Ismini Vocas, Marianthi Marandianos, Michael Vocas, Eleni Maradiaga, Marianthi Hamizidis and Markella Hamizidis. Cherished great grandmother of 17 and great-great grandmother of 3 girls. Survived by her sister Georgia and the her late sister Eleni. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 29 Central Street, Somerville on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10:00AM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours will be held in the church prior to the funeral mass from 8:00AM to 10:00AM.

Services will conclude with burial at Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Watertown.
