Barbosa, Maria C. (Margadon)-Of Somerville, passed away peacefully at Oosterman Rest Home on Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was 90.

Born and raised in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Luis Barbosa who died in December of 2022. Devoted mother of Maria Barbosa of Somerville, and Luis Barbosa and his wife Carol of Auburn. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Lucas and Alaina Barbosa. She was a loving and cherished, sister, aunt and friend.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) on Wednesday morning, July 26th from 9:00AM to 10:30AM. Followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 10:30AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Services will conclude with Maria being laid to rest with her beloved husband at St. Paul Cemetery, Arlington.
