Margaret E. Phillion, of Somerville, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday, December 22, 2025. She was 93 years old.
Born, raised, and educated in Somerville, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Alexander A. and Beatrice (Fougere) Phillion. She was a talented seamstress who could make anything she set her mind to. Margaret was also an exceptional baker and loved preparing treats for her family, especially her famous Tiger cookies. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews, who brought her great joy throughout her life.

Devoted sister of the late Mary Bernadette Phillion, Beatrice Monteiro, Theresea Dromgoole, Alfred Phillion, Robert Phillion, Joseph J. Phillion, Edward Phillion, Eugene Phillion and Francis Phillion. She is also lovingly survived by many loving, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Callings Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Tuesday, December 30th from 9:00AM to 10:30AM. Followed by a funeral mass at St. Ann Church 399 Medford St., Somerville at 11:00AM
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
