Lynda M. Miller, a cherished and devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend, of Lynn, passed away at home suddenly on July 22, 2023, she was just 43. Born in Cambridge, Lynda was raised in Somerville, the daughter of Mary F. (McClure) and Thomas M. Miller.

Lynda was the cherished and devoted mother to her children, Angel Ortolaza, Jr., Christian J. Ortolaza, Jayden M. Ortolaza, Ellis J.J. Crawford, Jamel Antoine Reese, Jr. and Lanyeah Rose Reese. Always their biggest fan and supporter, she was front and center on the sidelines at their football, basketball games or cheerleading competitions. She enjoyed the beach, but above all she put her family first and cherished time spent together.

In addition to her children and parents, she will be missed by her grandfather Edward J. McClure, her sister Sheila A. Miller, brother Thomas M. Miller, Jr., her nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Sunday, July 30th from 3:00PM – 5:00PM with a prayer service beginning at 4:30PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment will be private.
