Majano Yanes, Luis- Of Somerville, passed away on January 1, 2023. He was 52.

Born and raised in La Union, El Salvador. He was the son of the late Miguel A. Yanes and Angela Majano.

Beloved father of Eric Majano and Miguel Majano. Cherished brother of Gabino Majano Yanes and his wife Marta G. Pineda, Ernestina Majano Yanes and her husband Silvano Garcia, Rosalina Majano Yanes, and Carolina E. Majano and her husband Edwing Hernandez. Loving uncle of Nelson Garcia, Luis Garcia and his wife Anita Lopez, Yessenia Garcia, Aliana Garcia, Cristian Garcia, Angel Majano, Eric Majano, Stephanie Morales, Jhonatan Hernandez, Sofia Hernandez, Jamie Majano and Antonio Majano.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Benedict Church, 25 Arlington St., Somerville, on Tuesday, December 10th at 10:00AM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 9th from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.

Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
