Barbosa, Luis Of Somerville, passed away at home on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was 95.

Born and raised in St. Michael, Azores to the late Manuel and Maria Barbosa. Luis has a successful career as an automotive mechanic. He took his talent of being able to fix vehicles to fixing his home. He made his house a home for his family with all the hard work he put into building his house. He was proud of all the projects he done throughout the years and would show everyone everything he has done.

He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Maria (Margadon) Barbosa. The devoted father of Maria Barbosa of Somerville and Luis Barbosa and his wife Carol of Auburn. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Lucas and Alaina Barbosa.

A Prayer service will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:30AM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be held Tuesday morning prior to the prayer service from 9:00AM - 10:30AM.

Services will conclude with burial at St. Paul Cemetery, Arlington.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
