Lillian M. Rudgis (Downey) of Somerville passed away on March 21, 2026, at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Rudgis. Lillian was predeceased by her brother Arthur J Downey and his wife Francine Downey, as well as her sister Barabara O'Regan and her husband Cornelius (Buddy) O'Regan. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Lillian on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. Joseph Church, located at 252 Washington St. Somerville, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held in the church prior to the Mass from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lillian to the Dana-
Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
