Leslie Ann
Maillet
Oct 16, 1950 — Apr 21, 2023
Leslie Ann Maillet (James) of Medford passed away peacefully at her home on April 20, 2023 with her two sons by her side. She was 72 years old.
Leslie was born October 16, 1950, in Somerville to the late Charlotte M. James (Morris) and Herbert R. James. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Maillet of Medford, formerly of Somerville. Leslie was survived by her two unconditionally loved sons; Justin Maillet, and wife Aryel of Hudson and Ryan Maillet of Medford and her two cherished grandsons Leo Alfred Maillet and Mac Joseph Maillet. Leslie was also survived by her loving brother Karl James of Lynnfield and many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and care takers.
Leslie attended Saint Clement School in Somerville where she met her high school sweetheart Alfred. They then married in 1981 and went on to raise their family in North Medford where they made endless memories and family traditions.
In addition to being a beloved mother and wife, she worked at Arthur D. Little as a secretary for over 20 years. Leslie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1994. She, her family, and care team including her longtime dedicated PCA Gloria Lopez would go on to battle the debilitating disease for nearly 30 years. Despite her diagnosis she was always positive, upbeat, and as many would say unfiltered! She had the best sense of humor and loved to laugh. Leslie loved to listen to her favorite music and reminisce with company.
You were better if you had the opportunity to know and love Leslie.
