Lazaros Lazarou of Somerville, formerly of Kato Fteria, Greece passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on July 9, 2022. He was 83.

Born and raised in Kato Fteria, Greece, he was the beloved son of Elias and Joanna (Penopoulou) Lazarous. Lazaros and his family emigrated over to the United States and they settled in Somerville. He had a love for cooking and his love carried over into his career. Lazaros worked for 35 year at MIT in the kitchen, cooking delicious meals for all the students.

He was the beloved son of the late Elisa and Joanna (Penopolous) Lazarous. The devoted brother of Dimitrios "Dimitri" Lazarou and Naum Lazarous both of Somerville.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Athansius Greek Orthodox Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington, MA 02476, Wednesday, July 13th at 10:00AM. Please meet directly at church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
