Obituary

Kimberly (St. John) Moore – Of Sarasota, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the young age of 61.

Born in Somerville and raised in Tewksbury, Kim was the beloved daughter of the late Robert J. St. John and Theresa L. (Langley) St. John. Kim had a fun-loving spirit and a creative side. In her younger years, she loved dancing, was involved in 4-H, attended the Barbizon School of Modeling, and enjoyed participating in beauty pageants. She also had a love for writing poetry, expressing herself through the words she put on paper.

Family always came first for Kim. When her father passed away, she stepped up to help her mother raise her two younger sisters. That was who Kim was: someone who cared deeply for her family and would do whatever she could to help the people she loved. Throughout her life, she continued to be there for her family, always putting their needs before her own.

Of all the roles Kim held in her life, being a mom was the one she cherished most. Her children were her heart, and being their mother brought her a love and purpose that meant everything to her. She wanted nothing more than to see her children happy and to make sure they had everything they needed and more. That same unconditional love carried on to her grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. Kim's greatest happiness came from loving her children and grandchildren, and she gave everything she had to make their lives better. Her family was her world, and the love she gave them will remain with them always.

Kim earned her associate degree in Criminal Justice, but her greatest accomplishments were not measured by a degree or a career. They were found in the sacrifices she made, the love she gave, and the countless ways she showed up for the people who mattered most to her.

Kim deserved so much more than life gave her. Her unexpected passing leaves behind a tremendous heartache for all who loved her, especially the family who meant everything to her. Though her time here was far too short, the love she poured into her children, grandchildren, and family will never be forgotten. She will be missed more than words can express and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Beloved wife of the late Dennis M. Moore who was the love of her life. Devoted mother of Dylan Moore and his wife Tori Hogan-Wilging, Dennis Moore, Jr., Jacquline Moore, Kevin Speck and his wife Nikki Sexton. Loving grandmother of Trenton, Jaydan and Kynston Moore. Cherished great grandmother of Taliyah Moore. Dear sister and her best friend of Charlene Mountcastle and her husband David and the late Roberta "Bobbie-Joe" St. John. The loving god mother of Nicole and Jimmy. Also lovingly survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
