Karen E. Norton, of Arlington, passed away peacefully at the age of 49 at Brigham and Women's Hospital on July 12, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of the late George F.  Norton.

She is survived by her mother Ingrid, sister Kristen Newkirk and her husband Eddie as well as her niece Grace and nephew Liam whom she adored. It is impossible to count the number of extended family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers for whom Karen was a ray of light and love.

Karen resided in Arlington for the majority of her life. She graduated from Arlington High School, class of 1990. She received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts at Boston University, class of 1994. She wore many hats in her post-college life; including Show Artist for the World of Animation at Walt Disney World, professional portrait and wedding photographer,  Municipal Assistant at Lexington Community Center, and Administrator positions at Tufts Healthcare and Mass General Brigham. She loved painting, photography, golf, and the beach.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Karen in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment will be private.
