Kamyla Lucas Godinho, aged 30, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, tragically passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, following a car accident with her beloved husband Jean Deaquimo and her daughter Maria. Her untimely death leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Kamyla was a passionate and adventurous soul who loved to skateboard, travel, and capture the beauty of life through her photographs, often sharing moments with her beloved daughter, Maria Eduarda. Kamyla was a devoted mother who gave her heart and soul to her daughter, creating memories that will forever be cherished. To her mother, Kenya, Kamyla was a loving and dedicated daughter, always there with a helping hand and an open heart.

Kamyla's love for life extended to the simple joys—she found happiness in sharing coffee and conversation with those she loved. She was particularly overjoyed with her recent marriage and the exciting news of expecting a new addition to her family.

Kamyla's spirit will live on through her family and through all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will forever be etched in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was the beloved daughter of Kenya Lucas Machado and her husband Jose Antonio dos Santos Dias and Jose Marcio de Arujo Godinho. Devoted mother of the late Maria De Souza who tragically passed away in the accident. Cherished Sister of Guilhermy Lucas Machado. Dear niece of Nubia Lucas Machado and Siamo Marques de Souza. Loving cousin of Isabella Lucas Nogueora, Marco Vinícius Lucas de Souza, Frederico Lucas Machado, Karoline Lucas Machado, Gustavo Lucas Machado. Also survived by her former husband Hudson De Souza and many other friends and family members.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 12th in the International Church of God, 85 Washington St., Somerville from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30AM. Services will conclude with Kamyla being laid to rest beside her beloved daughter Maria at Island Pond Cemetery, 15 Island Pond Rd. Harwich, MA.
