Jose Victor Cruz 68, born in El Salvador on March 13, 1955, passed away on January 9, 2024, at his home in Somerville, MA.

Victor (as was known by his family and friends) immigrated to the United States in 1975 and settled in
the city of Somerville, MA. Where he resided with his beloved wife Aminta Cruz ever since. He was a
loving and caring person, known for his kindness and humbleness.

In 1985 he dedicated his life to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, joining the Spanish
Revere and then the Somerville congregation; he remained a member of this congregation until his
death. He loved people and was always ready to help others. He served as a congregation's elder and
ministerial servant for many years.

He is survived by his sisters Maria and Margo, his brother Fernando, his stepdaughter Elsa Noelia, and
seven stepsons with their wives: Arthur and Carmen, Ruben and Vicky, Mario and Margarita, Enrique
and Erika, Efrain, David and Evelyn, Joaquin and Lorraine, also 15 grandchildren and 8 great
grandchildren.

Arrangements for a Memorial service in person and on Zoom is scheduled for Saturday, January 27 at
1:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 11 North St, Somerville, Massachusetts.
