Cirame, John "Jack" - Of Falmouth formerly of Arlington and Somerville, August 28, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Joanna (Preston) Cirame. Loving father of Laney Joyce and her husband Ken of Somerville, Maura Goodwin and her husband Bill of Winchester, Jay and his wife Suzie of Medford, Stephen and his wife Jody of Champaign, IL, Joanna Laghetto and her husband Andre' Frosch of Winchester, and Patricia Meaghan Simon and her husband Brad of Winchester. Brother of Elinor McIntyre, Bernice Dolber, Elaine Zunino, Stephen Cirame, Charles Cirame, the late JoAn Ferguson, Robert Cirame and Regina Papkee.  Dear grandfather of Jacquelyn, Kathleen, Lauren and Stephen, Caitlin and Caroline, Hub, Jake, Augy and Cy, Laney and John, Cooper, Preston and Tess. Cherished great grandfather of Soleil and Frankie. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Tuesday morning September 12, at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Clement Church, Somerville at 10:00, with reception to follow Mass.

Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA Wednesday morning September 13, at 10:30, with reception to follow at the Elks Lodge in Falmouth MA.

Jack graduated from St. Clements High School and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was a proud US Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. Jack spent his career as a Somerville School Teacher, Coach, and Driver Education Instructor. He was a proud member of the Sons of Italy in Medford and the Elks Club in Falmouth.

Jack was an accomplished athlete and an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed horseracing and both playing and watching golf and baseball. The family requests baseball caps be worn for anyone attending the receptions following the services.
