John Michael Feeney Jr., of Somerville MA, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at age 71.

John was born in Queens, NY on October 19, 1953. He was the son of the late Mary (Fitzgerald) and John Michael Feeney. He was the loving brother of Kieran (Kelly) Feeney, Patrick Feeney, Deirdre Feeney, and Catherine (Stanley) Karboski. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Shannon Oeser, Shaunda (Elliot) Gillespie, John Johnson, Victoria "Tory" Feeney, Tara Feeney, and Jack Feeney. He was predeceased by his brother, Matthew Feeney and sisters, Mary Feeney Bonawitz and Patricia Cole.

In his free time, John cherished exploring the country, often taking scenic routes and visiting his nieces and nephews. He had a passion for attending live sporting events and was a dedicated reader, with a particular love for history. His curiosity and thirst for knowledge never waned, and he enjoyed learning something new every day.

Interment will be later at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Yonkers NY.
