MAHONEY, Janice (Jan) of Somerville age 61 joined the angels in Heaven peacefully at home on March 2. She will be deeply missed by her loving parents John and Carol (Carbone), her sister Mary Ellen Melaragni and her husband Stephen of Winchester and their children Stephen Jr and Rebecca, as well as her brother John and his wife Maria of Stoneham and their children Jack and John, her beloved godson. Jan will also be fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and her devoted boyfriend, Alex Everett.  Jan enjoyed working, travelling, bingo, and the arts, and was once featured in the Boston Globe for her outstanding artwork.

Her family would like to thank the many people who worked with, befriended, and helped Jan and her family over the years. Due to the ongoing pandemic no services are planned at this time.
