Obituary

James David Moran - of Somerville, passed away at home on Friday, March 10th, 2023. He was 52.

Born in Winchester and raised in Somerville. He was the beloved son of Helen L. (Murphy) and the late Francis X. Moran. The devoted brother of John Moran of Somerville and Suzan Moran of VA. Loving uncle of Julia Rose Moran.
He was a graduate of St Sebastian's High School and the Longy School of music. He loved his cats, his family and his friends and drinking coffee at the Diesel Cafe. His greatest passion was his music. He could make a guitar sing.
He provided us with much laughter along with great joy and comfort throughout his life. We will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his mother Helen, sister Susan and his brother John, as well as his long time partner Marcy who he cared for deeply. As well as many friends and relatives.
A Funeral Procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, Saturday, March 18th at 9:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church 64 Warner St., Somerville at 10:00AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday March 17th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
Interment will be private.
