Isaias M. Fagundes (67) of Everett, MA, formerly of Medford, MA passed away from neuroendocrine prostate cancer on May 7, 2024.

Isaias, also known as Isaiah was predeceased by his parents  José  DeMeneses  Fagundes and Carmelina Linhares DeMeneses. Isaias was born on July 20, 1956 in Terceira, Açores, Portugal and survived by his loving husband Amaro Fagundes, whom he cherished dearly; his two wonderful children: Stephanie Fagundes of Stoneham, MA, and Jennifer Fagundes of Cambridge, MA. Isaias was also survived by his siblings; Adriana Moules, Adriano Fagundes, Conceição Espinola, Eduarda Fagundes, Fatima Fagundes, Filomena Camara, Helena Fagundes, José Fagundes, Juvenal Fagundes, Juvenalia De Jesus, Luisa Brum, and ManuelaToste. Isaias was known for his outgoing personality, renowned sense of humor, and deep love for his family and friends.

One of his favorite places to visit was Provincetown, MA where he spent many weekends with his husband and friends. In Provincetown Isaias relished in being able to go to the beach, and strolling along Commercial Street, people watching. In Isaias' leisure time, he enjoyed playing pool with a competitive edge and loved to take naps in the sun. Isaias will be missed by many. May his playful spirit and tender moments shared with him bring comfort to his family and friends during this difficult time.

The wake will be held, on Friday, May 10th from 4:00PM - 7:00PM, at George L Doherty Funeral Service, located at 855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144, relatives and friends invited.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Isaias, on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00am, at Saint Clement Church, located at 64 Warner Street, Medford, MA 02155, relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at church. Following the funeral service, there will be a cremation of Isaias' remains.
