Irene M. (Moore) Casey, of Woburn and formerly of South Boston and Braintree, passed away surrounded by her family on January 28, 2022. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Casseta) and Thomas Moore. The beloved wife of the late Jack "Spike" Casey, together they raised their family in South Boston.

Devoted mother of Jay Casey and his wife Michelle of Medford, Cheryl Casey and Tricia Casey, both of Woburn.

Cherished Nana of Michaela and Olivia Casey, Daniel, Kate, Brian and the late Bridget Sweeney, Sam, Cullen, Maura and Eliza Hodge.

Funeral Procession from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) on Saturday morning at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Gate of Heaven Church, 615 E 4th St, South Boston at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Calling Hours Friday from 3PM-7PM.

Interment at Braintree Cemetery.
