Green, Fusako Y. "Sue"- A long time resident of Somerville, passed away with her family by her side on May 29, 2022. She was 89.

Born and raised in Chiba, Japan. She was the daughter of the late Nobuyoshi and Tomiko(Hasegawa) Yoshioka. Sue emigrated to the U.S in her early twenties and settled in Somerville. She was a hard worker and worked many years as a waitress at many well know Japanese restaurants in and around Boston. She worked well into her 70's. When she wasn't working you could find her at home crocheting, knitting or planning her next

trip. Sue and her husband Llewellyn enjoyed traveling especially to Ogunquit, Maine. You could also spot sue enjoying her time at the Somerville Senior Center or at the East End House in Cambridge playing bingo. Her sweet personality and her love will bemissed by all especially her loving family.

Sue was married to her beloved husband Lewellyn 'Lew' Green for 52 years who died in2007. The devoted mother of David Green and his wife Terri of Somerville, Gregory Green and his wife Amanda of Burlington, and the late Richard Green and his surviving

wife Meredith Green of Revere. The loving grandmother of Gabrielle, Alex, Taylor, Samantha, Jordan, Benjamin and Robert and a great-grandmother of 5 great grandchildren.

Services were held privately and Sue was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
