Mrs. Fernande Saint Leger Regis passed away on March 29, 2025, she was 87.

Born and raised in Arcahaie, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Rosita Saint Leger and Merceus Dalzon and beloved wife of the late Alphonse Regis. She immigrated to the United States and settled in Boston to provide a better life for her family. As a longtime Somerville resident, she operated her own seamstress business. An active member of the community she served in the choir and the Women's Ministry at the Missionary Church of the Haitian Community and Holy Bible Baptist Church.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Therese Dumay, Jude Louissaint (deceased), Marie Chantale Tranchant, Patrick St Leger
Alain Regis, Nadege Desir, Alphonse Junior Regis and Daniel Regis; twenty one grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her siblings: Maurice St Leger, Henriette St Leger (deceased), Leon St Leger (deceased), Anne Marguerite St Leger, Jean St Leger (deceased) and Marie Audate St Leger. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and extended family members of Dalzon and Lauriston families.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the Holy Bible Baptist Church, 64 College Ave Somerville from 8:30AM to 9:30AM followed by her Funeral Service beginning at 9:30AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
