Eugene Walter Menoche, of Somerville, passed away on October 24, 2024, he was 91. Born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island he was the cherished son of the late Constance (Héon) and Lionel Menoche.

He attended the University of Rhode Island and worked as the secretary to the president of the American Built Right Corporation. Music was a great passion for Eugene and his talent was well known through out many stages, churches and theaters in New England and beyond.

Eugene is survived by his brother David Menoche of Massachusetts; niece; Catherine St. Jean of Rhode Island, nephew and Godson; Robert Menoche of Massachusetts, nephew; William Menoche of Florida, several cousins in Rhode Island, his dear friend Maureen Gaffney of Somerville and many friends at the Pearl Street Park apartments. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard D. Menoche.

Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Tuesday, November 5th from 8:30AM - 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, Somerville at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Eugene will be laid to rest with his parents and family members at the Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Ave, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 02861 on Wednesday morning, November 6th at 11:30AM, all are invited and asked to meet inside the main gate.
