Doris M. (nèe: Cormier) Piwinski-Landry was born in Scoudouc, NB, Canada. Daughter of the late Willie and the late Francoise (nèe Landry) Cormier. Doris came to America from Canada at the age of 16 and became a US Citizen at the age of 24, was a homemaker and worked doing daycare to be able to stay home and raise her family.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Joseph Piwinski and his wife Francine of Billerica, James Piwinski and his wife Peggy of Somerville, Michael Piwinski and his wife Linda of Medford, Son-in-law Thomas Evans and Sister-in-law Therese Cormier. She was the Mémère to 12 Grandchildren, Grand Mémère to 12 Great Grandchildren (with one more Piwinski on the way), One special Niece Linda Surette who would faithfully visit her weekly and multiple Nieces and Nephews. Besides her Parents, she was predeceased by her Daughter Debra Evans, her 1st husband Ernest Joseph Piwinski, her 2nd husband Leonard Landry, Six Sisters, Oliva, Yvonne, Rita, Bernadette, Dorilla and Aldina. Four Brothers, Leo, Edward, Armand and Francis. As well as many Cherished Brother and
Sister-in laws.

Funeral procession will commence from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, located at 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville, on Friday morning, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

Interment will be private.
