Born in Medford, MA September 8, 1944, Donna J. MacAdams, 78, recently of Sandwich, MA formerly of Arlington, MA passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023 at Cape Cod Hospital Hyannis, MA.

She was the daughter of the late Catherine R. (Dwyer) and Donald T. MacAdams.  Survivors include sister Bonnie and husband George Duane of Framingham, MA; brother Richard W. MacAdams and wife Annette of Sandwich, MA and sister Maureen and husband Carl Dentler of Holbrook, MA several nephews, nieces as well as great nephews and nieces.

Donna grew up in North Attleboro, MA and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School Class of 1963. She was a retired employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts having worked at the Middlesex County Probate Court and the Suffolk County Superior Court.

Among her fondest memories were those of childhood summers spent at "Happy Hampton" Beach with immediate family, Nana Dwyer and many cousins, aunts and uncles. A talented artist, Donna expressed her love for animals in her portraits of them.

Visiting Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Thursday, February 23rd from 9:30AM - 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Clement Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Donna's memory, to an animal rescue shelter of your choice.
