Donna Marie Fazio, a proud and lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 following a hard-fought battle against cancer, she was 65. Born in Malden she was the daughter of Lucy (Tartaglia) Fazio and the late Vincent Fazio. She was a graduate of Somerville High School and in earlier years she worked for the Raytheon Corporation and as a popular waitress at many local establishments over the years, including the S&S in Cambridge and Bocelli's Restaurant in Medford.

Donna was one of a kind, she had a feisty spark with a heart of gold, she always made an entrance and lit up a room.  Always meeting new friends wherever she went, she was the life of the party.  Donna loved time spent at the beach, in summer she could be found at the beaches of Revere, Nahant, Hampton and Cape Cod or as a snowbird on the coasts of Florida. A loyal friend and "Aunty Faz" to many, her spirit will be greatly missed.

In addition to her mom, Lucy she is survived by her brother Vincent Fazio and his son, Vincent "Little Vinny" and her sister, Sheila Flaherty, many cousins and cherished friends.

All are invited to Premiere on Broadway, 517 Broadway, Somerville to celebrate the life of Donna Fazio, on Saturday April 18th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

A private burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
