Polley, Donald H. "Don"- Of Medford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was 95.

Born in Waltham to the late Joshua and Lydia B. (Dorey) Polley. Don was a talented man who loved paint. He eyes for detail and steady hand allowed him to paint many beautiful paintings over the years. He loved to hike, gardening, bike, sing or volunteer whenever he could. His enjoyment of volunteering allowed him to teach painting classes at the Medford Senior Center which was like a second home to him. His dedication to his faith and love for his country was endless.

Beloved husband of the late Madeline M.R. (Grande) Polley. Devoted father of Mary Polley-Berte and her husband Arthur of Londonderry, NH, Matthew Polley of Medford, Thomas Polley of Monterey, CA and Larry Polley and his longtime partner Melanie Strahan of Epsom, NH. Cherished grandfather of Jason and Jacob Polley, Nicole Roduit and her husband Alex, and Sara Berte.  Dear brother of Marilyn Crawford and the late Myrtle Matejski, Lois Peterson, and Doris Lync. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Monday, October 30th at 9:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Hillside Community Church, 144 North St., Medford, at 10:00AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.

Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Late U.S Airforce Veteran, Korean War.
