Domenica M. (Bramante) Sicari – Of Somerville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. She was 96 years old.
Born in Boston, Domenica was the beloved daughter of the late Francisco and Maria (Motta) Bramante.
Domenica's greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her beloved husband and devoted son. Her love for those around her was expressed not only through her affection and kindness, but also through her gift for cooking and baking. Domenica found immense happiness in preparing delicious meals for family and friends. Her kitchen was always open, and no one ever left her home hungry. Even visitors who stopped by for only a brief hello were often invited to sit down and enjoy a home-cooked meal.
A woman of simple pleasures, Domenica also loved to read. Whether it was a favorite novel or a new book she had discovered, she could often be found comfortably seated in her chair, lost in the pages of a good story. Her gentle nature, warm hospitality, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Sicari who passed in February of 2024.Devoted mother of Joseph Sicari of Somerville. Cherished sister of the late Concetta Mirisola and her late husband Thomas, the late Mary Costanzo and her late husband Nino, the late James Bramante and his late wife Mary, the Domenic Bramante and his late wife Josephine, Rose Pagliarulo and her husband Joseph and the late Salvatore Bramante. Also lovingly survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 10th in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford at 9:30AM. (Please meet directly at church.) Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Services will conclude with Domenica being laid to rest with her beloved husband Joseph at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
