Mrs. Debra Ann (Galvin) Marinello passed away peacefully; but unexpectedly at her Somerville home on Saturday, she was 59. Born and raised in Arlington, she was the cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Sonya (Koschuk) Galvin. She was the beloved wife of 30 years to Frank L. Marinello and a loving mother of Philip Galvin of Holden and Justin Soccorso of Worcester. Dear sister of Patty Miranda and her husband Mike of New Hampshire, Thomas Galvin of Stoneham, the late Katherine Puleo and her surviving husband Lou of Holden and the late Anthony Marinello. Sister in law of Louis Marinello and his wife Ida of Shoreham, NY and Janice Marinello of Sherborn. Debra is also survived by her mother in law, Rose Marie Marinello of Somerville, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Following a traumatic brain injury, Debra was fortunate to receive exceptional home care these past 14 years by her dedicated caregivers and most especially by her husband Frank. Debra loved the ocean and enjoyed spending time in Ogunquit, Maine.

A Funeral Service will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Thursday at 12:00PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 10:00AM – 12:00PM.

Interment will be private.
