Tivnan, David R. --52, A lifelong resident of South Medford passed away suddenly on November 6, 2022. David was the loving husband of Laura Faretra-Tivnan and the devoted father of Gianna Marie Tivnan of Medford. David was the loving son of the late Andrea (Kinsella) and Edward Tivnan. He was the beloved brother of Kevin of Dracut, Brian and his partner Jaimie Ruszala of Pawtucket, RI and the late Derek of Medford. David was the doting Uncle to Delaney Tivnan of Medford and Madison (My true Love) Ajemian- Tivnan of Hampton, NH.

David was also a dedicated son in-law to Fiore Faretra and his wife the late Marianna (Pascuccio) and brother in-law to Maria and Carla Faretra all of Medford.

David will forever be remembered for his infectious smile and laugh as well as his nickname "Flipper"!

A Funeral Procession will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.), on Monday November 14th at 9:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 64 Warner St., Medford at 10:00AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, November 13th from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.

Services will conclude with David being laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
