Claire A. Delaney, a lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on July 27, 2026, she was 66. Born in Cambridge, Claire was raised in Somerville, daughter of the late Maryann (Kerins) and David D. Delaney. Claire was the devoted mother of David B. Delaney of Nashua, New Hampshire.

In earlier years, Claire worked in administrative support for the Insurance industry, above all she enjoyed time spent with her son David and her family.

Dear sister of Ann Marie Blades and her husband John, Joseph D. Delaney and his wife Jennifer all of Merrimack, New Hampshire and the late Susan J. Delaney and Robert B. Delaney. Loving aunt of Shannon Delaney, Alexander Blades and Kaleigh Blades. 

A private burial was held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
