Brian Daniel Murphy- Of Medford, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 21,2026. He was 49 years old. 

Born in Winchester and raised in Medford, he was the  beloved son of the late Thomas F. and Nancy E. (Connors) Murphy. 

Beloved father of Meave Murphy. Devoted brother of Peggy A. McCarthy of Nashua, Sean Murphy and his wife Pam of Marston Mills, Colleen K. Murphy of Weymouth, and Kevin Murphy and his wife Kanako of Pasadena, CA. Loving uncle of Julia Murphu. Also lovingly survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) on Friday, August 7th at 11:00AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St at 12:00PM. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. 

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, August 6th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. 

Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
