Barbara Anne Spindler, a lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on August 14, 2024, just after her 86th birthday. Born and raised in Somerville, Barbara was the daughter of the late Marita B. (Bright) and Russell L. Spindler and dear sister of the late Russell Spindler. A graduate of Somerville High School, she worked as a claims adjuster for Travelers Insurance Company prior to her retirement.

An active member and resident of the Brady Towers, she served on the resident's board. She enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and taking drives with her dear friend and caretaker, Charlie Snyder, to go shopping or out for lunch and dinner.

In addition to her friend Charlie, she leaves behind many other friends and residents at Brady Towers, a cousin, Gracie Spindler of Somerville and niece, Tracy Czubaj of New York.

Currently Funeral Services will be private.
