Demarco
Dec 20, 1924 — Mar 20, 2025
Aurora (Altobelli) DeMarco, a lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on March 20, 2025, she was 100 years young. Born in East Boston she was the cherished daughter of Carolina (Cecia) and Natale Altobelli. Beloved wife of the late Arthur J. DeMarco.
An active and independent woman, Aurora lived in Somerville all her life prior to moving to the Atria Marland Place Assisted Living in Andover for the last three years. She loved fashion and design and always dressed to the nines. In earlier years, she had a long career in retail. Working first at Chandler's Department Store, R.H. She could be found daily at the former Meadow Glen Mall where she would meet up with a large group of friends to walk the mall and socialize. Above all, Aurora loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
